issues, first problem.

I'm not performing… The investments at 630-2025 were valued at $1,827,95.

As compared to 4 maximum 487,862 as of 6374.

The investment funds on dividends and interest of $474,134,000. This was…

Donations in the amount of $9,300 hours and $2,056 received by the government from the library business for the attendees.

Investment fees incurred for $42,775.625 as expected, $797.

We have, converted from S&L Investments from the need to use Connecticut Health Management, which holds the funds to fidelity and access as of 75.

During the fiscal year, standards from the investment funds were made in the amount of $116,778 for the library to assist in renovations and supplemental to their operations.

At 6,000, it's not how much better.

The checking account balance as of September, 2025 was $46,600.

Aww.

During the year, since we received $42,296 that's reimbursed for the same expenses that would stay out of the state of the United States.

We received donations. Audit expenses for direct receipt checks. We audit the group annual meeting expenses of $15,773.

That's fine.

The reception.

That's it. Hold on.

Thank you very answer. Do we have a motion made to, accept the finance force? I'll hold a second.

Any discussions? Any questions?

Hearing none, all those in favor of the motion made in session, say aye. Aye. Opposed?

Motion carries unanimous. Thank you very much.

Nominated.

Cool.

Did everyone pick up a copy of the nominating report?

Dominating. I don't know what happened to my coffee. No, I have it, I have it, thank you. It's okay.

Good.

So you just heard from Marianne's holistides.

Who is our current broker.

And she is looking to step down, but she's just only filling in his throat for us anyways.

And we have a new, person that we're bringing forward to be our treasurer, and that's Matthew Kaufman. Matthew is currently

the, a Regional Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Hartford HealthCare.

And, we have interviewed him, the executive committee, I think as we would like to, put forth his nomination as treasurer, along with re-nominating Jeffrey Gray as president, myself as vice president, and Chrissy Ward as secretary as our office.

And you can also see that our list of directors, the classes of 26 and 27 haven't changed, but our class of 2028

It is new for the next 3 years, which would include Rick Lopez, Don Whalen, and we had an open position.

And at our meeting, just before this meeting, Mary Ann Policitis had said she would step in and fill that open.

So even though it says open right now, Mary Ann pulled a seat at some DVDs.

Well, that's working in the class of 2028.

So, would I be looking for probably our two motions, one to vote on officers, and one to vote on directors.

Or I could take a motion to do it all together, however the motion wants to be made, but I'm looking for a motion from the floor.

For these candidates?

My movements about the, nominating report and the, latest preserved.

Okay. Alright, Derek, thank you.

Secondly, it's promo, but… I think I heard John Whalen first.

I heard John first.

Are there any other nomination reports?

Well, we have a motion that's been seconded, so I will…

As for a vote, everyone in favor of accepting the nominated report absentee, with the addition of Mary Policinas in that open spot. Say aye. Aye. Any opposed?

Thank you very much. That passes, I believe, unanimous.

Thank you, yep.

At this point, we're gonna go through, branch reports and, along the two directives.

Give you an update on what's been happening, and, leading off the next…

As always, they're able to do different things publicly.

You too.

Good evening, everyone. I'm the Director of the Hunters and Public Library.

Second time, and stand in front of this group to talk a little bit about the past year, and

Start off by kind of giving you…

A slower, sort of, intentional piece.

I'm gonna then go into, talking a little bit about the numbers with us here, and then I'm gonna finish off by talking

This is,

Last year, when I spoke to you, he probably don't remember. I didn't need a number. Let's see how we actually did.

So, the library here in New Britain…

It's a place that celebrates three freedoms that are obligation to, human rights.

The Freedom's disease.

It is a face, that has universal access. There is no bad barriers to access everyone involved.

The freedom to become.

a place where self-regionalization and visualization happens, on each individual's own planet.

And the freedom to develop.

And, we do that in many ways, but attending the library can be a place where people that wouldn't immediately connect with each other, can sit next to each other, learn from each other, create together, and,

It's a place where, sort of, drainage can become neighbors, can become… None.

And I think we've had a pre…

last year as well, and it's interesting when I look at some of the numbers that,

I will be sharing with you today. Right now, it's bias that you were left.

Because we already had a 24% increase, so this is what I've seen in my very last year. So to frame that up, another 24% increase in the picture.

But we do have a 5% increase, across, both library branches.

Does anyone that's not on the library board know where the other library is located? That's not the main library?

Yes. The Jefferson, Craft Library of the Jefferson's other methods.

And that has been a library that we have really made sure that we are crafting that well, and we are working with professional staff.

And we're seeing an A3PC event there, and we do the same library there, and they're expanding their offerings, programming for the entire community as well. It's not only a school library, although we do that very well over there, it's also a library for the site.

And… We redesigned our website. We designed the website, and we saw a 13% increase in the website indices.

biggest makeover that I've ever seen.

We'll be glad to fix everything.

Do I have these results?

We also saw a pretty modest increase in the number of public closes.

He said, hooked to himself in place, and

That puts up to about 16% of the New Britain's population that have library types.

Which is, hard to know if that's high or low, but it is pretty low compared to the state average, which is about 32%.

So that is actually going to be sort of a focal point for us going into the next year. Next year, around this time, we'll talk more about how we did, but our main goal is going to be to raise the number of library projects in

Part of this meeting is to talk a little bit about how you can help and support to the various branches, and of course, you can go to our website and click the donate link there.

You can also read about other ways to support us, but one way of really supporting Mother is dealing with

And if you know people that are living in France, just tell them to get a library site, because that's really not a lot, not as a long time to…

level, and also when it comes to the federal economy and that kind of thing. And unfortunately, what we wanted to see is to be an educator, something that deliver the community.

Getting a library close.

Completely make a statement.

And then I want to share… I don't know, I'm doing 7 minutes or something? Correct. Okay. Alright, so… yeah, yeah, thanks.

So, another thing that's, I think, notable, is that the utilization of library materials, you know, think of traditional materials like books or 3D, maybe CDs for some people,

That circulating is going down, like, it's down 5% compared to…

But the circulation of electronic materials is up 31%.

So we're seeing kind of a lot of people shifts to using electronic materials in favor of… of the more traditional physical interior. And we're especially seeing this scan used for the younger people, for, for young adults.

The increase is 74%.

And with younger children, the increase is 43%. So, that's something that we will be sort of allocating more funds to that going forward, because we're seeing that that's what we see.

So, I don't have that many numbers.

Nope.

But I wanted to talk about program attendance, too, which is something that we experience them, primarily.

Because that's all issues, because that is that belonging part. That's where people gather, and where there's this exchange shows of, connection.

We saw a 15% increase in the program attendance overall.

Which I think is great. We saw a 106% increase in the program attendance for the underkill 106.

Dogs, we saw at 49% for the…

So we've been doing a lot more in this realm, and I think

For many people, we think of libraries as the venue for a storytime programming for young children, and we, of course, do a lot of that, but we don't do a lot of things for it.

people of all interests. So I encourage you to visit our website, take a look at what we offer. We have about 100 program sessions.

Then I also wanted to highlight that the library was fortunate enough to be a part of a,

coalition work, with 14 other organizations across New Britain. This was something that was started by the YWCA. It started as a VI cohort of organizations.

And led by the SEED consultant.

And we kind of transformed that work this year, and we held community conversations, community dinners.

at the library, at OIT, and

they were a conversation to learn, so that we could learn more about. We had over 100 people attend these dinners to sit down and listen to each other, learn from each other, and all of these 15 organizations had the opportunity to also,

analyzed the data that we got from that, and we presented it to community leaders. And we're now in the phase of acquiring additional funding, hopefully, for the next phase of this, which will be

I think potentially really, really interesting, because you'll be sort of problem solving from the ground on us, not necessarily looking to

elected officials or human community leaders to solve the problem, but looking to see what can we do as neighbors at

people that work within different organizations, or can be issues to combat the issues that we see on the community?

And the primary issues federal law for were…

But people want to be living safe, you know what I mean?

People are offering that they connect to the music.

Num…

We don't have time to explore that fully right now, but, I think that it's interesting to see how those two things are infinitely connected, and supporting the connectivity can be used to be also supporting the feeling of safety as well.

So, we have some ideas, and I'll talk to you about that next week.

Excuse me.

But anyway, so what I said that I would do, last year, so there would be new ground meat to be able to have

representing the community, to the library.

We have a new website, Cheryl Patreon with you.

He said that we would do increased outreach and community engagement. We've been everywhere in the past year.

He also said that we would be reimagining the library spaces. We've done that.

And we have…

removed one of our service points, we have consolidated those. We also said that we would have new study rooms, and we have, opened up the dance floor, which I'm going to talk about in the meeting.

Really amazing resource for the university to be able to gather and meet and study, and better themselves.

is also… I didn't promise you that I would get a bookmobile, but we did that too. And so, that will be able to sort of represents our path going out of this portion of the…

And the places that will go in that bookmobile, will be fabulous, and I look forward to getting a lot more people in this community library cards and connecting them to our program services for the volunteer.

Thank you.

Thank you, Mr. Richard.

Do we have any way to sign up?

What are the times, my dear, today.

Give me your email address, I'll be in touch. You know, be Victor, you don't have AIDS,

The library finds that. Britain Industrial Museum.

Can I see a girl ragweed.

Or if you just tagged me through the, maybe because… Down, down.

I'm cheesy.

Managing our mood today, so we'll see if it's about…

But, as I, chose these many, many years, our primary goal for a long time is an expansion.

These are a very small location, and as both is mentioned, we have an off-site storage facilities and staff physicals.

About 1,200 square feet of, artifacts that really might continue to share the problem with it.

Right now, we just don't have the space to do it.

And we are rectifying that in surgery to me this year. We had some very good news.

But just stepping back for a minute, last year, we did a very generous grant that enabled us to

Revamped our storage facility, shelving and, pallet racking, so…

And the idea was, obviously, the more efficient use of that space, but also to, easily access that so we can conduct a,

An in-depth, headline.

organization and cataloging of employees. So, that was big news last year, a big help. And then this year, in January and February, we included a business plan for a, you know.

Generic 10,000 square feet, facility. So…

And then we learned UAB had a generic total location. So, in May, we learned that the Youth Museum was a rotating space on Curtis Heist. So, the Institute, Youth Museum generously offered that to the industrial museums, to be upset with that, with,

It sucks.

Great, appreciation.

So, we are now in the moods, in the heads of a mood.

To the former meeting table at the library. So that facility is about 6,000 square feet. It's about 3 times, the space that we have, currently. Two floors.

They're in the process of making that. We closed on September 28th.

And the preparation for this move. Have done some renovations to that building, put in a new epoxy door on the first door, done some paintings, and, Jeff and Randy have been investigating also the attic and elevate.

So, we're hoping that, the move, we have to be out of, Main Street, West Main Street, on Halloween, so our… hopefully that we'll be able to do that, and we will hopefully,

Open up in a new location, but so is it going.

So, that's the plan. We had thought about, or we're planning to have a gala to celebrate our

Our, 30th anniversary week.

This month, but, patient, but there's new…

We need to rescheduled that, you'll be rescheduling that for the spring of 2026.

And then also in 2026, we are also doing some rebranding here. Finalizing the new logo of the book.

I'll put these in the oven.

And hopefully that will be… It can be, at the time for a celebration in the spring.

on the cover.

Thank you, both handoff, please.

Yo, I can, I can just…

touch on, things that are in the fourth, but just adding it as a whole new exciting for me.

It's happened through my tears, and sent it out.

The positive situation of the pandemic.

Every other edition of… On the voyage, she prays you don't have to figure space.

So, we have, two doors now, much lower, it's not gonna be really huge for visitors.

Yet. It's had a little role, so…

All of it. When they drilled this, building. They put a shaft

And then they put the box that's older on these two blocks, and…

The air smelled okay when we kept it home.

Thank you so much, We… I think most of what I told you, yeah.

Tell everyone to go up there, we can use, like, the whole activities.

And there's a great variety of sized rooms in the upstairs. It's a fantastic

But once we get to utilize that, it is. So we'll be working on that.

That's dead into an apartment card.

We have no problem living well.

Because we want to put it upstairs.

All that stuff. It's actually ending for me.

We don't have to pay rent, and…

Just exhilarating.

and Brazil the electricity. Does anybody… well, one thing we do have to worry about

A building at a new museum.

It sounds scary, but actually, because submute electricity.

So, it was never a separate meter we saw there. Somehow, he went to hell in order to do this.

-Oh.

So… But we do have, Wizarding the website.

We don't know how much the fingers are. We're not used to seeing that in our closets.

I think you have less no electric field, because it's all donated to the… loved.

You need to create its own nature.

In reverse indication.

So we're learning new things, we don't have to speak, now we have to be responsibilities.

You'll need visiting.

Guilty enough.

Can anyone see what that was, it came out.

And the pants left and laughs, and… Bought some randomly.

Here we go.

If you need things, name it's gonna be fantastic. Great.

I moved the most neighbors of the library, of course, exactly from the library.

And it's intelligence.

They generate success, encouraging them are happy.

We're gonna say the uniform threads.

But, then… We have to kill nodes off. Sure.

So I hope you'll come and visit us in January to leave space.

And I can do it off.

I think the reason they didn't have an elevator was they just didn't have the money. It took a year for somebody to start to stop using elevators.

That's the next mission. So, our, our last branch report is, the attendance Also, ocean muscular, so…

Thank you.

Good evening, everyone, and it's my third…

My second in person, my third year here. But it's so good to have all of you here. My staff has worked so hard in the support of all of you and our community members, all of our funders, supporters, and all of our members.

I've been scared to really spin things up, so I don't need to understand it.

I wanted to talk about where we were last year when I spoke, and

I felt like I was running a race. We fixed this, we fixed this, we're doing this different, we're doing that different, change some staff, they have new board members.

And over the last year, we really just took it down a level, starting with the strategic plan.

So, it took me about a year and a half to figure out what's going on here.

We have a strategic plan. Our new mission is we engage our community by sparking curiosity, nurturing understanding, and encouraging the stewardship of our nets and local.

I think we needed a little time to figure out what we were doing.

A lot of different things at several different phases to preventative sexy.

So we had to strength in order to become better, and do a better job at what we're doing.

Over the last year, we have launched a full-day, fully licensed summer camp, which is a before and after fair, and served lunch out of our kitchen. It was wonderful.

And I gave the charge to our assistant director of education to say, this is what we want, and we want it for 8 weeks. And he didn't wink an eye, but then when we hired, Emily, who's sitting here in the bath.

who's our Director of Operations now, she said 8 weeks is insane for a summer camp. You're gonna kill your staff. But they did it, and we're all so proud of them.

We increase our revenue through that, and we increase our footprint.

The other thing I really was very proud of this past year was our box snippet.

Now, Pippin is not available

be seen by the public yet. And that is because our government, if you haven't noticed, is shut down, and we are waiting for a USDA infection in order to, comply with our licensing requirements, make sure everything is squared away with pippets until we're before we can put them.

But he is doing well on faculty.

Pippin's story is a sad, but now happy one. He was found with his brother on a cold and rainy night, and they…

driveway, or a cul-de-sac, or something like that. The story changes sometimes, but the point is, the brother didn't make it, Pippen made it, Pippen is blind. He doesn't have any other physical challenges that I know about. We're very fortunate to be able to work with him, our animal care team, at a very young age, with rehabilitation.

So we're expecting Pippin to be a very good program animal for us.

And we will be… we are the ultimate sensor that it has.

pending… Appropriate, like, some explore thoughts and thoughts.

That was a really great field test.

Pippin required a significant and specific exposure to be at his healthiest.

And those of you that haven't had a chance to look outside, you can peek out these windows a little bit later, and you can see it. It's bigger than my first house.

Very anxious because of all the work that they do.

Animal care overall has really developed into quite a…

Center of Excellence, that was one of the things that I wanted to do here with staff, was impress upon everyone that whatever we're doing, we want to do it to the highest standard that we can.

Beforebearer deletion had, last USDA inspection, had no barriers to get that.

I wanted to talk a little bit about,

The strategic plan in terms of the mission statement that we have now.

As Randy and Scott mentioned, or Jonathan mentioned, there…

There was a lot going on here, and now we don't have a building down. And that's okay.

Part of our previous mission had us doing a lot of different things. As I mentioned, we are consolidating now. We will still have AP exams. We are about to launch some concepts for that in… early in the new year, late in this year.

And that was a big change for us. But interestingly enough, as Lee packed boxes and looked through files.

There were several strategic plans in the past that made comment to…

It's too much to run two facilities, you need to consolidate.

We need to consolidate on two separate, defense beds.

So, with the support of the Institute and our board and the community, and all of the community members that came and did focus sessions and had a few surveys for us, that was such a great piece with that. We look forward to launching.

and do the Envision Museum, in the spring.

And our plan for that so far is to really focus on STEM and nature.

So, it still speaks to the museum aspect, and we're incorporating all of the things that we do here within our mission. Our mission is to be our graduate students to be happy.

Now, many of you, and… Many of our visitors

tell us, our staff, and myself about when they were here, years ago, horses that they had ridden.

ponds that I've skated upon.

trails they had cut through to get to school, or this place, or the other place. So, very thoughtfully with the museum's collection, we've decided to…

honor the history of the organization, or this part of the branch of the organization, by doing a focus on, kids or help. So, we have a lot in resource right now.

We are pending a grant, as the collaborative grant with Yale, another,

Apologize the museums program and ourselves.

and some interns through the Magic Humanities Council to go through all of our collections and make recommendations on who might get what, picture on what we had viewed. There's a book history in there for you, maybe the art museum.

They don't all make sense for us, but they do make sense for someone. So we want to make sure that whatever collections that we have.

Are seen and appreciated by the public.

What that means for us is that we will have some rotating exhibits here.

And we'll be honoring different aspects of the organization and its historic elements. So, I think this upcoming year, you can keep an eye out for opportunities to

participate in World History Project, to participate in surveys, come to us, we'll do some photographs and other artifacts with us. We can really engage our community in where we've been and where we are now.

There's some really great It's really great collections that we have that we want to… as…

Enhancement to the work that we're now.

So, very much looking forward to that.

The other piece that I wanted to talk about was our…

opportunity now to re-engage with the community. I mentioned when I first started, I was just kind of catching my breath, figuring out what was going on here. I can say this is the first year we really understand what's happening with our finances, and that is a huge relief.

And also, helps us utilize our resources more efficiently.

In terms of programs and community events.

and community, forward-facing opportunities, table events, things like that. That's going to be one of our focuses for this upcoming year.

We are planning to… Maybe do an 8-week summer camp, maybe do a 6-week summer camp.

But this year, we have… 150 blank.

children.

And in total, we had 309 weeks of camps. So that's 300 samples, 309 samples.

Compared to… that's for the full day. Compared to the previous year, when we had, 141 people together.

We're also working more closely with the school district in Britain now. What we realized, going through our data, with a very detailed eye, was that

We had a lot of New Britain students that… our schools, Newton schools, that were coming more than once.

For field trips, or we were visiting them more than once, or what combination of the two. And we did notice that there were a lot of students that weren't seeing us at all. So, we've been working with the school district, and we made a commitment that

Our goal is that every kindergarten gets a Hungerford Brittany's Museum visit.

on-site. A lot of people don't want to take kindergartners out. I don't know why, but that's different.

be in their own element if they have the staff.

And that we see every 60 seconds per year.

The private school districts here.

For a preset. So that's our commitment for the next week. That's been going… for the next year, I should say. That's been going very well.

With that being said, as part of that data, last year, we hosted, you know, a 29% increase in visits.

And we host 129 programs here, and that was a 19% increase in revenue for us. We served 35% Newark students last year than we did here.

So, again, focusing on mission. Now, when our staff meets about programs or events, we're always asking, how does that align with our mission? How do we know we're doing something well? This year, I hope

that we will… we will be looking more closely at our evaluation and metrics so that we know we're doing what we say we're doing.

Not in a traditional, let's take an exam at the end of this visit kind of way. That kind of furniture, but in a more casual,

check for understanding kind of way with our students and our visitors that are coming. We just want people to learn more and experience nature, because that is the way that you grow stewardship our wonderful world, is to have good experiences here. And that is our plan. Now that we know a little bit more about who we are right now, and where we're going.

It's important for us to set those goals and measurable athletes.

I don't know that I have too much more to say about that. Our membership is holding strong at 460. We had 208 new memberships this… 288 new memberships this year.

And we had about 13,000 individual visitors outside of any groups or events or activities.

We have not held an auction since I got here.

I don't know that we'll go back to a traditional auction or gala. Our Pumpkin Palooza event has eclipsed. We've made to many other events in the past.

And it is a family-friendly… it really speaks to our population that is served. It is two nights. It is an extreme amount of work. We have a bunch of sponsors now that are giving us pumpkins, and giving us cider, and…

We had a group of 20 from EverSchool this year that carved all of our pumpkin, or gutted all of our pumpkins in about 3 hours. So it would insane. For those of you that don't know it… anyone here bins pumpkins for the book?

Okay. It's truly a sight to be seen. So there are 336 pumpkins this year that were carved both professionally and by people like myself. We can barely get a triangle in them.

We carved, we kept them, we invite the public and visitors and volunteers to come and park, beautiful things in them, and then we put them out in our…

And we invite people back on two nights, Friday and Saturday, to see those pumpkins, have a bonfire, have some donuts, cider, kids' activities, you name it, we have it, and…

That is definitely our signature event, and if you have that as anything made for fundraiser, which I think taking some time to do. But, it's working out that way, so…

You also saw this year, reimagining our adult events. So, we held our first adult event since I had started, year for bears, and we had a deep period population of April was about to build up and starting out.

And that was a good success. We're holding our next adult event on November 7th, which will be Wooden Whiskey.

And worldwide, spirits of wine, worldwide wine and spirits in the Southern King. I'll talk to those.

For that one, and then we have our belt, along with World Pride for the teachers there. So, those two adult events, and then we have some reconnecting workshops, both for adults and for families, so there's a lot we're working on. Again, all mission-related, so that would go in…

Thank you very much. We look forward to another busy year.

all the branches, you realize, I think we've never been in a stronger position than we are right now. Every branch is moving ahead, cutting new.

Something I've scavenged, and doesn't.

It's terrific. I feel very put everywhere.

This is the only kinds of buildings, so…

Thank you all. Also, if you haven't picked up, one of the annual reports, For the things noticed.

I'm responsible for designing this and putting all this together, and… Billy's a great job, so…

Since everybody else kept them in their content eyes up four times.

This last year was the year of change, when two new directors and branch doors chaired.

This year, the 178th birth

year of New Britain, so it was a year of apathy. Certainly faced a part due to New Zealand.

Through it all, we continue to find new and better ways to serve the educational needs of the greater New York communities. To that end, our board of managers includes representatives from the Consolidated School District.

That's you, the Downtown District, City Hall, and our state senator.

all who's…

Isn't intended to diminish in any way the rest will come from, companies large and small, and of those that are self-employed.

I suppose I'm listening there, Bradley, first.

It is through the leadership of Tammy's actually very director, and Melissa Sanchez as the committee chair, the museum is hosting this event, the annual members meeting, that Chair Hunterberg Center have undergone a rethink
